Learn to Lift

Learn to Lift is a beginner's strength training program that will teach you the fundamentals of strength training: bracing, squat, hinge, bench press and pull-down. If you are looking to improve your strength and build confidence in your lifting skills while in a supportive, engaging, fun, small group environment, then Learn to Lift is for you! Learn to Lift is a strength training program where we will work on the basic lifts you need to feel confident working out at home or in the gym. 

Prior experience with lifting is NOT necessary for these classes. They are designed with the beginner in mind, to offer you variations of each lift so you can make movements easier or more challenging, depending on what you need. Sarah will move through modifications of exercises to show you creative ways of exercising so your gym routine never gets old. During these in-person classes, you will move at your own pace and ability.

All participants receive a FREE 4-week beginner's strength training program. This will help you stick to your new strength training habit and practice what you learned in the group sessions.

The Details 

Teens Learn to Lift (Ages 13-17) Mondays & Wednesdays

11AM-12:00PM 

July 15th, 17th, 22nd and 24th

OR

August 7th, 12th, 14th and 19th

 

Adult Learn to Lift -  Saturdays OR Wednesdays 

Saturdays 8-9:30AM - All Genders 

9:30AM-11am - Women/Trans/Gender Non-Binary Only

July 13th, 20th, 27th and August 10th

 

Wednesdays 6:30PM-8PM - All Genders 

July 17th, 24th, 31st and August 7th 

**Note there are no sessions on public holidays or Saturdays during the long weekends.
