My Story
Hi, I’m Annika! Movement has always been a big part of my life, and over the past four years working in the fitness industry, I’ve had the opportunity to coach people across a wide range of experience levels and training styles.
I have a degree in Recreation and Health Education and experience teaching everything from traditional strength training and functional movement to HIIT and barre. Whether you’re stepping into the gym for the first time or you're an experienced athlete looking for a new challenge, my goal is to create a training experience that meets you where you’re at.
My coaching approach focuses on functional movement, injury prevention, and sustainable strength development. I believe fitness should support your life—not take it over. Together, we’ll build strength and confidence while developing movement habits you can maintain for the long term.
Just as importantly, I want training to be something you actually enjoy. I strive to create an encouraging and inclusive environment where you feel comfortable learning, challenged enough to make progress, and celebrated for showing up.
Outside the studio, you can usually find me hiking on Vancouver’s North Shore, walking along the Seawall, or trying out a new fitness class somewhere around the city. And if you’re lucky, you may eventually meet Tassie, my new Lab puppy, making an appearance around the studio!
